Worth knowing
• Waterfall is always present, but the water volume is seasonal. It typically flows after snowmelt and solid rains (can be very dry July-October)
• Vintage home = a few harmless quirks like a couple of sticky windows that won’t stay open without a prop. We keep the home well-maintained but have tried to keep the vintage character intact.
• Wildlife lives here. You may see deer, foxes, turkeys and birds of prey from the kitchen window.
• No ridiculous rules: throw your trash away, and treat the home as your own 🙂
• Plenty of firewood by the fire pit – we allot guests one bucket (approx.) for free per night stay
• This is our second home, so you will find it very well stocked with anything that you might need – including condiments in the fridge, and feminine hygiene products in the bathroom. As it is our second home it will not feel like a hotel; there are pictures on the walls, vintage glassware in the cupboards, and a surplus of lived-in character.
